  • Description:Our prestigious Cambridge based client is recruiting for a General Sales Manager, to join their team.

    The successful candidate will have executive responsibility for the Sales Department and will approach situations with an enthusiastic and positive manner.

    You will be highly customer-focused, assume responsibility for the daily operations within the department. You should have a proven track record in selling and negotiating; and an understanding of sales processes and manufacturer requirements. 

    Your key responsibilities will include: managing the Sales Team, ensuring the Centre has correct and well managed new and used car stock; ensuring the Centre meets Brand Standards for demonstrator and stock requirements, coaching and developing your team members; and ensuring that your department effectively forecasts its position. 

    You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining proper processes within the department, to ensure that targets and objectives are met.

    Previous experience within the motor trade is essential to be considered for this role.

    You must be able to commit to the following working hours:

    Monday to Friday 0830-1800 and every Saturday 0830-1700 (with one day off in the week)

    1 in 3 Sundays 1000-1600
